planning your special event can be an exciting and stressful time. i work closely with my clients to create timeless keepsakes from their special event that will be cherished forever.  

 

 

custom event design process

step 1: CONSULTATION

First let's chat and make sure we are a good fit! We will discuss details about your upcoming event such as date, colors, location, style and the overall scope of the project including budget, timeline and any questions they may have about the process. Once the project contract is signed and deposit has been paid, you are put into my client schedule and the fun begins! 

step 2: research

To begin the process clients will complete my wedding questionnaire. The questionnaire can be challenging but is a great opportunity to hone in on your vision to make your event as magical as possible.  Clients are also encouraged to start a Pinterest board with inspirational images including a mix of patterns, flowers, colors, party ideas and any type of imagery that embodies the vision they are trying to achieve. Once this step is complete I will create a mood board to ensure that we are both on the same page. 

step 3: design

At this point I will start working on creative concepts for your project.  During this stepall communication will be done through email. The first three rounds of revisions are included in the original quote and I work closely with my clients to ensure the end result is everything they envisioned. Once the initial invitation concepts are finalized I will begin work on the collateral pieces such as menus, programs, place cards, signage and favors. The possibilities are endless and I love working with clients to create complimentary pieces that are truly one of a kind.

step 4: proofing

Proofing your design is essential to the overall success of your final product. I will send a digital proof of your entire invitation suite before it goes to press. You must review and confirm that all the details are 100% accurate. Once the proof is approved, the remaining balance is required before printing your project. Once you approve your proof and the deposit has been received, your designs are sent to the printer. Printing and production depends on the printing method, quantity and time of year of your project. I will provide estimated timelines throughout the process. 

step 5: finalize

Clients can choose to put their invitations together or I can provide finishing services. Through out the process I work closely with my clients to ensure that their visions are being brought to life. The best collaborations come from shared ideas and trust and I work to make ensure all my clients are comfortable coming to me with any ideas and concerns.
